Price List Import Tool

Price List Import Tool is not enabled by default.

Note: there will be additional costs involved if this option is enabled.

Overview

It is possible to import and update price lists of type [ Promotion | Price Lists | Stock Item / Price List ].

Preparation

  1. Excel will strip leading zeros from numeric stock codes and barcodes, so please ensure that you take appropriate formatting steps if you have any leading zeros in these fields.
  2. Your import file must be saved as CSV.

Usage

Once you have created your import file:

  1. Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
  2. Press F9 or clicking the down arrow immediately to the right of the to open the 'Other Actions' menu.
  3. Select Import/Export > Import > CSV Stock Item Price Lists.
  4. Browse to the CSV file to be imported and select it.

All YES/NO fields should be done as Boolean values. YES: -1, NO: 0

STOCK_CODE green tick The stock code of the item to be included in the price list.FREE TEXT50
BAND_LOW red cross The lower banding for the price.NUMERIC5

PL NAME green tick The column HEADER should match the Price List name, exactly as it shows in [ System Data | Price Lists ]. The values within the data, should then be the sell price which should be used on the price list.
Note: If "DELETE" is used, it will remove the stock code from the specified price list
