System Data Adjustment Reasons
Adjustment Reasons
Adjustment Reasons allows users to select an adjustment reason from those listed here when posting adjustments in the [ Stock | Detail | Adjustments ] screen, see How To: Setup and Use Adjustment Reasons. The [ Stock | Adjustments | History ] screen displays all the adjustments made to stock items. The grid can be sorted on the Note/Reason column to see adjustments made for each reason.
Notes:
- Users can either use the adjustment reasons or enter a free text note, but not both.
- The option Structured Adjustment Reasons must be ticked in the
[ System Values | Options | Stock ]tab in order to use this functionality.
Adjustment Reasons Grid
- Reason Code: the code given to the adjustment reason, for example; ST for Stock Take.
- Reason Description: the name of the adjustment reason, for example; stock damaged, water damage etc.
Adjustment Reasons Context Menu
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
