Quotation Reasons
Quotation reasons are used to record why a quotation has not been successfully converted into a sales order.
Quotation reasons can be selected in the following areas:
- Reason column (F4 lookup) in the
[ CRM Manager | Quotes (Opportunities) ]
screen, see How To: Create Quotation Reasons. - Reason quote was unsuccessful? drop-down on the System Message when Mark Quote(s) As Unsuccessful is selected from the Context Menu in the
[ Customer | Customer Service | Sales Orders / Invoices ]
screen.
Note quotations need to be green-selected before this option can be used.
Quotation Reasons Grid
- Description: the reason for failing to successfully convert the quotation to a sales order, for example competitor price match, too expensive or unhelpful salesperson.
Quotation Reasons Context Menu
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
