Customer CRM Tasks Tab
For the Other Action Menu options (press F9 or ) see Customer Other Actions Menu.
The tasks tab displays a list of tasks (to-do items) that have been recorded in this screen or in the [ CRM Manager | Tasks ]
against various users for the current customer or supplier. It is a summary page to collate all the tasks that are to be done (or have been performed) for the loaded customer/supplier. Tasks can also be marked as complete from here by right-clicking on the grid, see How To: Add a Task Linked to a Specific Customer and How To: Delete a Task Linked to a Specific Customer.
The Tasks screen consists of top action buttons, filters and a grid.
Tasks Action Buttons
- : adds a new entry in the task grid.
- : removes the task currently focused on.
- : this button must be pressed to populate the grid.
Tasks Filters
- User ( / traffic light filter): filters the tasks by a specific user if the traffic light is green else displays all user's tasks.
- Date From and Date To ( / traffic light filter): the traffic light date range allows the user to filter between the dates selected.
- Show All (or only non-complete items): displays items that are both completed and not completed.
Tasks Grid
- User: the task is assigned to.
- URN: the URN of the customer or supplier.
- Basic Description: the description of the task. This can be further defined in the
[ CRM Manager | Tasks ]
screen. - Ord: the tasks can be given an order value. When not in edit mode this will sort the tasks using this value.
- Priority: as selected when the task was created, but it can be updated when in edit mode.
Note: the Task Priority must be setup in System Data before they can be used here. - Type: the type of task as selected when it was created, but it can be updated when in edit mode.
Note: the Task Type must be setup in System Data before they can be used here. - Act Hrs: total of the hours added to the breakdown of the task in the
[ CRM Manager | Tasks ]
screen. - Created: the date the task was created.
- Complete: the date the task was completed.
- HL checkbox: if ticked the line will be displayed with a yellow background.
Tasks Context Menu
- Goto Company Tasks: opens the
[ CRM Manager | Tasks ]
and enters the customer's URN in the URN filter to display the company's tasks related to the customer. - Mark Task Complete: the selected line is removed from the list.
- Mark Task NOT Complete: if the 'Show All' tick box is ticked, tasks marked as complete will appear in red. choosing this option on a red line will mark the task as not complete.
- Show Colour Legend: opens the Statement Legend popup listing the meaning of text and background colours.
- Apply Value Range: allows the user to specify a value that is to be applied to all of the currently selected rows/items for the current column.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
