How To: Create a New Task

  1. Open a CRM Manager screen (show me how).
  2. Click on the [ Tasks ] tab.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Click BtnNewItem.jpg or F3 to create a new task.
  5. Enter the parameters for the task as required by entering the information in the relevant columns including adding a description, eg a basic task description, task priority and task type.
  6. A customer URN can be added press F8 or by right-clicking and selecting 'Assign to Customer' from the context menu.
  7. Task breakdowns can be set for the new task in the 'Task Breakdown' grid.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

Note: an associated action can be created for the task after it has been saved by right-clicking on the grid and selecting 'Create Associated Action' from the context menu.
