How To: Create a New Task
- Open a CRM Manager screen .
- Click on the
[ Tasks ]
tab. - Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
- Click or F3 to create a new task.
- Enter the parameters for the task as required by entering the information in the relevant columns including adding a description, eg a basic task description, task priority and task type.
- A customer URN can be added press F8 or by right-clicking and selecting 'Assign to Customer' from the context menu.
- Task breakdowns can be set for the new task in the 'Task Breakdown' grid.
- Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
Note: an associated action can be created for the task after it has been saved by right-clicking on the grid and selecting 'Create Associated Action' from the context menu.
