Introduction
The Stock Items / Categories report provides a list of stock items assigned to your website categories. This report can be useful when reviewing website content, checking category assignments or auditing product visibility across one or more websites.
Important: Website Categories setup and maintenance is an advanced user feature. Before making changes, speak to your website developers to ensure the website structure and category configuration remain consistent.Configuring and using Website Categories requires HQ User permission.
Generate the Report
- Open the Web Configuration screen. For guidance, see How To: Open the Website Categories Screen.
- Select the Reports tab.
- Open the Stock Items / Categories sub-tab.
- Click Go to generate the report.
- Review the results displayed in the grid.
Print or Export the Report
Once the report has been generated, you can output the results using either of the following options:
- Print Grid to print the report.
- Send to Notepad to export the results for further review.
Understanding the Results
The report displays stock items alongside the website categories they are assigned to.
Note: If a stock item exists in more than one website, it will appear on multiple lines in the report, with a separate entry for each website.
Tips
- Use this report to identify which products belong to each website category.
- Review category assignments before making changes to website navigation or structure.
- Export the report to Notepad if you need to review the information outside Khaos Control.
- Run the report regularly to help maintain accurate website category assignments.
