How To: Print the Transaction Detail

The transaction details can be printed for the current open nominal or for a group of nominals.

Current Open Nominal

  1. Open an Accounts screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Nominal Accounts | Trial Balance ] tab.
  3. Select the appropriate nominal from the Trial Balance grid.
  4. Click on the Sc Accounts taDetail taNominalAccounts BtnOpenDetail.jpg button on the Transaction Details grid (updating or turning off the date filter if necessary).
  5. Right click in the grid on the right and select Reports -> Print Transaction Report.
  6. Select the date range for the report and click OK to display the report.
    Notes:
    • Once you print any of the reports from the Trial Balance it retains the dates used for that session to use for other Transaction Detail reports you want to print.
    • When you close re-open the screen it doesn't remember that previous versions of the screen have already asked for the date, so you will be presented with the date dialog again.
    • The Export Transaction Detail report always asks for the date range you want to use.

Group of Nominals

  1. Open an Accounts screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Nominal Accounts | Trial Balance ] tab.
  3. Green select the nominals you wish to create the report for in the left hand grid.
  4. Right click in the grid on the left and select Print Transaction Detail.
  5. In the Confirm popup either:
Yes to preview the reports; or...
    No to print the report.
  6. Select the date range for the report and click OK.
