How To: Report on Sales by Sales Source
Reports listing sales by sales source can be created in following screens in Sales Summary:
[ Sales Summary | Best Sellers ]
to report on what stock items have been sold using a particular sales source.[ Sales Summary | Customers ]
to report on what customers have bought using a particular sales source.[ Sales Summary | Sales Source ]
to report on all your sales sources.
Best Sellers
The stock sold using a specific sales source can be seen in the [ Sales Summary | Best Sellers ]
tab:
- Open a Sales Summary screen ..
- Click on the
[ Best Sellers ]
tab. - Click on the button in the top left.
- Select the Sales Source filter.
- Tick the Sales Source you wish to report on.
- Update the date range if required.
- Add further filters as required, for example Supplier.
- Click on OK.
Customers
The [ Sales Summary | Customers ]
screen lists the sales by customers that are linked to the selected sales source.
- Open a Sales Summary screen ..
- Click on the
[ Customers ]
tab. - Click on the button in the top left.
- Select the Sales Source filter.
- Tick the Sales Source you wish to report on.
- Update the date range if required.
- Add further filters as required, for example brand or postcode regions.
- Click on OK.
Sales Source
The [ Sales Source | Main ]
tab allows users to view sales by sales source.
- Open a Sales Summary screen ..
- Click on the
[ Sales Source | Main ]
tab. - Select the Sales Source filter.
- Update the date range if required.
- Click on OK.
Printing Reports
The results can be printed using the following options:
- Send to Notepad allows the user to send all or only selected data in the Grid to Notepad. This can be saved to external files, printing or importing into a spreadsheet program.
Note: saving as a .csv file creates a file that is opened in Excel. - Print Grid allows the user to display a report listing the information in the grid.
- The has two options Print Report (if any) and Print Grid both options load the Print Grid dialog.
