Introduction

Extended Stock Descriptions allow you to store customer-specific product descriptions that differ from the standard stock description.
If an extended description is no longer required, it can be removed from the customer record.

Delete an Extended Stock Description

  1. Open a Customer screen.
    For help opening the screen, see How To: Open a Customer Screen.
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Open the [ Customer | Detail | Other | Extended Stock Descriptions ] tab.
  4. Press Alt+E or click Edit to enter edit mode.
  5. Select the extended stock description you want to remove.
  6. Click the Delete Line button located at the top left of the grid.
  7. Click Yes when prompted to confirm the deletion.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click Save to save the customer record.

Additional Information

Extended Stock Descriptions are customer-specific descriptions that can be used on documents and throughout Khaos Control where customised product wording is required.
Before deleting an extended description, ensure it is no longer needed for customer-specific documentation or order processing.
