How To: Create Standing Orders

Standing Orders are created on a per customer basis. Once standing orders have been created they must be generated, see How To: Generate Standing Orders.

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Open the [ Customer | Detail | Other | History / Standing Items ] tab.
  4. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  5. Click on the the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right button to the left of the bottom grid.
  6. Select the stock item, or green select several items, to add to the standing order and double click to add to the grid.
  7. Enter the quantity of the item to be added to the standing order.
  8. Either:
    1. Tick the day of the week the item is to be added to the standing order; or...
    2. Add the day of the month the item is to be added to the standing order.
      Note: how the system creates standing orders needs to be taken into account when setting them up, see Standing Order Creation.
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.
