How To: Put an Invoice in the User Tray from the Customer Screen

Sometimes a user may need to reprint an invoice currently in a stage within the Sales Invoice Manager which is not visible or available with their permissions. This How To will allow the user get copies of invoices, the delivery note and pick tickets, although only if the order has not yet been issued.

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Open the [ Customer | Detail | Customer Service | Sales Orders/Invoices ] tab.
  4. Use the filters for example date range, stock type or stock code to find the Sales Order/Invoice to be re-printed.
  5. Green select the invoice, or invoices, to be re-printed.
  6. Right click and select Put selected invoices into "User Tray"
  7. Click:
    1. Yes button: To remove any Invoices currently in the User Tray and add the selected invoices. Please note that this option will only remove invoices that the current user has already placed in the User Tray.
    2. No button: To simply add the selected invoices to the User Tray.
  8. Click on Sales Invoice in the Command Window
  9. Focus in the Manual Printing - User Tray section
  10. Select the invoices you wish to re-print invoices for.
  11. Click the BtnOrderStageReports.jpg button and select:
    1. Reports to Customer menu option
    2. Then either Invoice (Single) F8 or F8 to print the invoice you are currently focused on, or
    3. Invoices (Batch) to print the selected invoices. If no selection is made then all invoices in the User Tray will be printed.

Note: The user will require the following user permissions and profiles: The ability to Open Customer and Sales Invoice, Visibility of the Customer and Sales Invoice Tabs and Visibility of the Manual Printing - User Tray.
