Introduction
The Per-Stock Export option allows Khaos Control to export shipment data at stock-item level rather than order level when using Royal Mail Click & Drop.When enabled, the export file contains a separate line for each stock item on the order. This is particularly useful for international shipments where item-level customs information is required, such as:- ICN Codes
- Harmonisation Codes
- Item descriptions
- Item weights
- Item values
When disabled, the export file contains a single line for the entire order.

Each stock item on the order is exported as its own line.For example, if an order contains three different products, the export file will contain three lines, one for each stock item.This allows Royal Mail Click & Drop to receive detailed product-level information for customs and international shipping purposes.

Configure Per-Stock Export
The Per-Stock Export setting is configured individually for each courier.

Steps
- Open the System Data screen. (Show me how)
- Select the courier you want to configure.
- Right-click the courier and choose Configure...
- In the Courier Options dialog, tick Per-Stock Export.
- Configure Use ICN Codes as required:
- Ticked: ICN Codes are exported to Royal Mail.
- Unticked: Harmonisation Codes are exported instead.
- Click OK to save the changes.
Note: Khaos Control does not need to be restarted after changing this setting.

Notes and Caveats
Existing Harmonised System Code Column
The original Harmonised System Code column remains in the export file.This value is taken from the Harmonised System Code configured against the courier through Right-click > Configure... and is exported alongside the new item-level fields.

Intrastat and Harmonisation Codes
Intrastat Codes and Stock Harmonisation Codes are exported to separate columns.When configuring Royal Mail Click & Drop, ensure each field is mapped to the correct destination column.

Harmonisation Description Length Limit
Royal Mail limits harmonisation descriptions to 50 characters.If a stock item's harmonisation description exceeds this limit:- The description is truncated during export.
- Royal Mail Click & Drop may reject the import.
- An error may be displayed when importing the shipment.
To avoid import issues, ensure harmonisation descriptions remain within Royal Mail's maximum character limit.
