Sales Orders CRM Customer Tasks Tab

For the Other Action Menu options (press F9 or the Other Actions Menu on the Button Bar) see Sales Orders Other Actions Menu.

The [ Sales Orders | Detail | CRM | Customer Tasks ] sub-tab is available from the [ Sales Orders | Detail | CRM ] tab along with the following tabs:

The sales order grid is common to all sales order detail tabs.

Sales Orders CRM Customer Tasks Tab

The tasks tab displays a list of tasks (to-do items) for the customer. Tasks cannot be created directly from this screen. New tasks are created either in:

Customer Tasks Filters

  • User (Red Traffic Light Filter /Green Traffic Light Filter traffic light filter): filter by user the task is assigned to.
  • Date range (Red Traffic Light Filter /Green Traffic Light Filter traffic light filter): filter by date range.
  • Show All (or only non-complete items) checkbox (default=unticked): displays items that are both completed and not completed.

Customer Tasks Grid

  • User: the task is assigned to.
  • URN: the URN of the customer or supplier.
  • Basic Description: the description of the task. This can be further defined in the [ CRM Manager | Tasks ] screen.
  • Ord: the tasks can be given an order value. When not in edit mode this will sort the tasks using this value.
  • Priority: as selected when the task was created, but it can be updated when in edit mode.
  • Type: the type of task as selected when it was created, but it can be updated when in edit mode.
  • Act Hrs: total of the hours added to the breakdown of the task in the [ CRM Manager | Tasks ] screen.
  • Created: the date the task was created.
  • Complete: the date the task was completed.
  • HL: if BtnTriStYesXP.jpg ticked the line will be displayed with a yellow background.

Customer Tasks Context Menu

All context menu options are applicable regardless of whether the sales order is in edit mode or not.

  • Goto Company Tasks: this opens up the [ CRM Manager | Tasks ] tab and filters by the selected customer. New tasks can be created from here.
  • Mark Task Complete: marks the task that the user is currently focused on as complete. Complete tasks are represented by red text and NOT completed tasks are represented by black text.
  • Mark Task NOT Complete: marks the task that the user is currently focused on as NOT complete. This is only applicable to completed tasks.
  • Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).

Note: tasks can be highlighted for extra visibility, usually referring to higher priority or extra urgent by checking the HL check box.
