Stock Detail Telesales/Internet Secondary Sub Tab

The Secondary sub-tab within [ Stock | Detail | Telesales / Internet ] provides additional information and website-related configuration options for a stock item.
These settings can help improve stock filtering, website integration, document management and product information available to customers online.
For information about the available options in the Other Actions menu (F9), see Stock Other Actions Menu.
The Telesales / Internet tab contains two sub-tabs:
Many of these fields are used when preparing stock items for website integration. For more information, see Web Categories.

Areas Within the Secondary Tab

The Secondary tab is divided into four sections:
  1. User Defined Attributes
  2. Catalogue Pages
  3. Linked Documents
  4. Internet Specific Values

User Defined Attributes (UDAs)

User Defined Attributes (UDAs) provide a flexible way to classify stock items using information beyond the standard stock description.
For example, a coffee supplier might use UDAs to identify products as:
  • Strong
  • Medium
  • Decaffeinated
  • Organic
This makes stock easier to search, filter and report on.

Add or Edit a UDA

  1. Double-click the top line of the UDA grid.
  2. The User Defined Attributes (UDA) Dialog opens.
  3. Add, edit or remove the required UDAs.
  4. Click OK to save your changes.
  5. Press F5 or click Refresh to update the grid display.

Notes

  • Double-clicking the blank row at the top of the grid opens the User Defined Attributes (UDA) Dialog.
  • Existing UDAs can be updated without entering Edit mode.
  • If no UDAs exist for the item, open them from [ Stock | Other Actions (F9) | User Defined Attributes ].
  • The UDA dialog can also be opened directly from the Stock Other Actions Menu.

Catalogue Pages

If the stock item has been included in a catalogue, the catalogue details are displayed here.
Note: This information is read-only. Catalogue assignments are managed in [ Promotion | Catalogue ].
