Card Processing Error converting data type varchar to numeric

Card Processing Error converting data type varchar to numeric

Khaos Control does not change the characters you type into the Card Number field, when entering payment card details on the Sales Order's Payment tab.

The effect of this is that if you type one or more Space characters (e.g. by entering a card number as '4929 4929 4929 4929' instead of '4929492949294929'), those are the characters that will be transmitted to your card services provider. If they are only expecting to receive numbers, the card services provider may respond with the error message: "Error converting data type varchar to numeric."

To avoid this error, do not enter spaces into the card number field when inputting a wholly numeric payment card number.
