Customer CRM Free Text Notes Tab

For the Other Action Menu options (press F9 or the Other Actions Menu on the Button Bar) see Customer Other Actions Menu.

The Free Text Notes tab consists of five areas:

  • General Customer Notes: allows the user to record text information about the customer or supplier. There is no limit to the amount of text that can be entered (subject to the database and associated disk volumes being capable of storing the data). The notes that are typed into this section are shown in the general tab in an editable format. See How To: Enter Customer Specific Notes.
  • User Defined Attributes: Customer UDAs are displayed in this area. New UDAs (once set up) can be added here for the selected customer, see How To: Company User Defined Attributes (CompanyUDA).
  • Delivery Note / Picking List Note (CU): will appear in the customer's delivery or picking list note, unless overridden in the delivery or picking list note.
  • Invoice Note (CU): will appear in the customer's invoice, unless overridden in the customer's invoice
  • Statement Note (CU): will appear in the customer's statement.

Note: the notes areas allow rich text (including Unicode symbols, emoji's and foreign characters).
