Add a Sales Order Related Entry to the Customer's Communication Log

You can create Communication Log entries directly from a sales order without opening the customer record. This is useful for recording follow-up actions, customer conversations, stock queries, and other important interactions while you are already working on the order.
Any communication added from a sales order is automatically written to the customer's Communication Log, helping you maintain a complete history of customer interactions.

Benefits of Updating the Communication Log from a Sales Order

Creating Communication Log entries directly from a sales order offers several advantages:
  • Saves time by removing the need to open the customer record separately.
  • Allows you to record information while speaking with the customer.
  • Builds a complete history of customer interactions in the [ Customer | Detail | CRM | Communication Log ] screen.
  • Gives users visibility of existing communication log entries related to the sales order.
  • Automatically records the sales order number against the Communication Log entry. The sales order number is stored in the SO Code field, allowing you to sort and filter entries by sales order.
