Channels 2.0 Shopify - Import Gift Message and Customisation Sections


When using Channels 2.0 Shopify integration it's possible to store the text of "gift messages" and other standard "customisation fields" against items within the SOrder.

The text of "gift messages" and other standard "customisation fields" are passed down from Shopify and viewable within the [DownloadOrdersRaw] JSON to be captured and saved on the Sales Order in Khaos Control. The gift message text is displayed as an extended description on the Sales Order line.


  1. An order is created in the Shopify Website and an item contains a 'gift message'.
  2. The resulting sales order has the message recorded as an extended description against the stock item.
