How To: Book Appointments in the Diary from the Comm Log

Appointments can be entered into the [ CRM Manager | Appointments and Actions (List)/(Diary) ] screen from existing communication log entries. To create an entry in the communication log see:

Note: there is no associated entry made on the customer or supplier's Communication Log for the appointment using this option.

  1. Open a CRM Manager screen (show me how).
  2. Go to the [ Comm Log (Leads) ] tab.
  3. Update the filters as required to help find the customer/supplier record and click on Go to populate the grid.
  4. Right-click on the customer/supplier you wish to book an appointment for and select 'Book Appointment...' from the context menu.
  5. In the New Appointment dialog enter:
    1. The description of the appointment.
    2. The duration of the appointment.
    3. The date of the appointment.
    4. The start time for the appointment.
    5. Amend the user for the appointment if required.
    6. Click on OK.
  6. Click on OK in the information popup, the entry will appear in the diary.
