How To: Change the background colour according to the site currently displayed

Assigning a colour to a site makes it easier to identify which site you are currently working in. Once a colour has been set, the background of the Site panel in the lower-left corner of Khaos Control will automatically change to the selected colour whenever a user logs into that site.

Set a Colour for a Site

  1. Open a System Data screen. See (show me how).
  2. Double-click [ Stock | Sites ] to open the Sites screen.
  3. Press Alt+E or click Edit to enter edit mode.
  4. Right-click the required site and select Choose Colour from the context menu.
  5. Select a colour from the colour picker, or create a custom colour if required.
  6. Click OK to confirm your selection.
  7. Repeat for any additional sites that require a colour.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click Save to save your changes.

Result

The selected colour will be displayed in the Site panel whenever users log into that site, helping them quickly identify the environment they are working in.
