Introduction
The Stock Value Report by System Warehouse provides a breakdown of stock values held within your system warehouses. This report can be used to review inventory holdings, analyse stock value by warehouse and support stock valuation processes.
You can also apply filters before running the report to focus on specific groups of stock items, such as those supplied by a particular supplier.
Generate the Report
- Open a Stock screen. (Show me how)
- Open the [ Stock | List ] tab.
- Apply any filters required.Examples include:
- Supplier
- Stock Type
- Brand
- Category
- Right-click within the stock grid and select:Print > Stock Value Report System Warehouses
- Configure the report options as required.Click the blue button next to each option to select or change the setting.

Just report on items IN STOCK?
Choose whether the report should only include stock items that currently have stock available.When enabled, items with zero stock levels are excluded from the report.Include OVERHEAD figure?
Includes overhead values within the stock valuation calculations where applicable.Include "COS EXCLUDE" items?
Includes stock-controlled items that are marked as COS EXCLUDE.These items are stock controlled but do not post values into the stock nominal account. - Click OK to generate the report.
Viewing and Saving the Report
Once generated, the report can be:
- Viewed on screen.
- Printed.
- Saved to a file for future reference.
- Exported using the available report output options.
Report Options Explained

| Just report on items IN STOCK? | Only includes items with a current stock level greater than zero. |
| Include OVERHEAD figure? | Includes overhead costs in the stock valuation. |
| Include COS EXCLUDE items? | Includes stock-controlled items that do not update the stock nominal account. |
