How To: Create a User Profile

WARNING: Only users with System Administrator rights are able to edit profiles
  1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
  2. Double click on [ System Data | Others | Users ].
  3. Right click on the grid and select 'Define Profiles'.
  4. Select 'Yes' to the information dialog displayed.
  5. Click on the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a blank profile to the bottom of the Profiles grid.
  6. In the Profile Management dialog add a name for the profile and select it.
  7. In the Screens' tab, drag and drop screens required for the profile from the Available Windows grid into the Enabled Windows grid.
  8. Untick the Visible Tabs and Visible Detail Tabs that are not required for the profile for every enabled screen.
  9. In the Command Window tab, check the Command Window options that are required for the profile.
  10. In the Invoice Mgr tab, check the stages that are required for the profile.
  11. In the CRM Types Tab check all the CRM Types that will be blocked for this profile.
  12. Click on 'OK'.
