How To: Hide an old Brand

If a brand is no longer in active use, you can disable it so that it no longer appears in standard brand drop-down lists throughout Khaos Control ERP. Disabled brands remain available for historical records, reports, and existing documents, ensuring that past transactions continue to display correctly.
Before You Start
Disabling a brand does not remove it from the system:
- The brand can still be viewed by right-clicking a brand drop-down list and selecting Show All.
- Existing documents, reports, and historical records will continue to display the brand.
- The brand can be re-enabled at any time if required.
Steps
- Open a System Data screen (show me how).
- Double-click [ Sales Order Processing | Branding ].
- Press Alt+E or click Edit to enter edit mode.
- Tick the Disabled checkbox.
- Press Ctrl+S or click Save to save your changes.
Additional Information
Once disabled, the brand will no longer appear in standard brand selection lists. To view disabled brands, right-click the drop-down list and select Show All.
Any historical transactions, documents, and reports that reference the brand remain unchanged and will continue to display the brand details correctly.
