Introduction
Branding allows businesses that operate multiple sales outlets, websites or trading names to present different company details, contact information and logos to customers.
For example, if your organisation sells through multiple websites or brands, Branding enables Khaos Control to display the correct company information on documents such as invoices, order confirmations and other customer-facing reports.

Branding Grid
The Branding grid contains the company information and settings used when generating branded documents.
Brand Desc
The internal description used to identify the brand within Khaos Control.
Company Name
The brand name or trading name that will appear on customer-facing documents.
Example: My Brand Name
Web Site
The website address that will be displayed on reports and documents.
Example: www.mybrandname.com
The email address that will be displayed on reports and documents.
Example: info@mybrandname.com
Tel 1
The primary telephone number that will appear on customer-facing documents.
Example: 01476 567331 (Tel)
Tel 2
The secondary telephone number that will appear on customer-facing documents.
Example: 0845 123999 (Local Rate)
Fax 1
The fax number that will be displayed on documents where required.
Special Text
An optional text field that can be used for custom information specific to the brand.
Examples include:
- Marketing straplines
- Invoice factoring information
- Administration notices
- Regulatory statements
Note: This field is not currently available within the Basic Reports interface without custom development work.
Company References
Reg Number
The company registration number displayed within the legal imprint of branded documents.
Example:
My Brand Name is a trading name of Vast Holdings Limited, registered in Scotland number SC080723.

Reg Office
The registered office address displayed within the legal imprint of branded documents.
Example:
Registered Office: The Palace of Westminster, London, SW1A 0AA.

VAT Number
The VAT registration number to be printed on branded stationery and reports.
Important:
Each Khaos Control system supports only one VAT register. Separate VAT-registered entities will normally require separate Khaos Control systems.

The ability to print different VAT numbers is primarily intended for businesses such as fulfilment houses operating on behalf of other organisations.
EORI Number
The Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) number used by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) for customs and duty processing.
A different EORI number can be configured for each brand.
IOSS Number
The brand-specific EU VAT Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) number.
If an IOSS number is configured at brand level, it takes precedence over the system-wide IOSS number.
DDI
Direct Dial In telephone number.
This option requires TAPI integration to be enabled within Khaos Control.

Branding Options
Tax Relief
Enable this option if the brand supports VAT relief qualifying sales.
For VAT relief to be applied to a sales order, all three of the following must be enabled:
- The customer must qualify for VAT relief.
- The stock item must be VAT relief eligible.
- The brand must have Tax Relief enabled.

Disabled
Marks the brand as inactive.
Disabled brands will no longer appear in brand selection lists throughout the system.
Logo File
The logo file used on branded reports and documents.

Logo Priority Order
Logos can be configured in several areas of Khaos Control. When more than one logo is defined, the following priority order is used:

Branding Context Menu
Brand Address...
Allows you to maintain the branded company address displayed in the eHAddrCompany field used by Basic Reports.
The address can include:
- Company address details
- Telephone numbers
- Website addresses
- Other company contact information

Brand Email Settings...
Opens the Brand Specific Email Settings dialog, allowing you to configure brand-specific sender addresses for automatically generated emails.
Notes
- These settings do not affect emails sent from Report Preview using the Email This Doc or Email All options.
- If no brand-specific settings are configured, Khaos Control will use the default values defined in System Values | Contact Manager | Emails.
Assign Logo Filename...
Opens a file selection dialog allowing you to choose the logo image for the selected brand.
Apply Value Range
Applies the same value to all selected rows within the active column.
Clear Selection
Removes the current selection from the grid.
Additional Information
Branding helps ensure customers receive documents that accurately reflect the correct trading name, contact details and visual identity for the brand they have purchased from. Correct branding configuration is particularly important for organisations operating multiple websites, sales channels or trading names from the same Khaos Control system.
