How To: Print Stock Labels from a Purchase Order

You can print stock labels directly from a Purchase Order for selected order lines. The number of labels printed is based on the PO Quantity for each line you select.
This is useful when receiving stock and preparing products for storage, picking, or sale.
  1. Open the Purchase Order screen (Show me how).
  2. Load the purchase order you want to print labels for.
  3. Green-select the line or lines that require stock labels.
Tip: Labels will only be created for the lines highlighted in green.
  4. Right-click within the order lines grid and select Print Stock Labels from the shortcut menu.
  5. If multiple label formats have been configured, select the required label type from the dropdown list and click OK.
  6. When the label report opens, click the Print button and choose whether to print to a printer or export to a file.
  7. Close the report when you have finished printing.

How Label Quantities Are Calculated

The number of labels printed is determined by the PO Quantity on each selected purchase order line.
For example:
PO QuantityLabels Printed
11
1010
2525
If multiple lines are selected, labels will be generated for each selected line based on its individual purchase order quantity.

Additional Information

  • Only green-selected order lines are included in the label print run.
  • If multiple stock label templates are available, you will be prompted to choose the required format before the labels are generated.
  • Label quantities are taken directly from the purchase order quantities and do not need to be entered manually.
