How To: Process a Return where Items are returned, but no exchange items are required
The following procedure describes how to process a return where the customer does not require exchange item(s):
- Create a new return or load an existing return:
- Open an existing return:
- Open the Returns screen .
- Find and open the relevant Return.
- Create a new return:
- From the original Sales Order
- From the Customer Record
- From the Returns Screen
- Open an existing return:
- Click on .
- Click the button in the Credit Note pane.
- If the customer does not wish the credit to be held on account and require an actual refund, click the button.
- In the Refunds Dialog:
- Select the bank account the refund is to be taken from.
- Click OK.
- Click Yes to confirm the refund.
Note: in order for extended descriptions to be copied over to the new credit note, you must tick the Copy Extended Description checkbox from the returns screen before clicking the button.
