How To: Prompt the user to replace an item on a Sales Order

The user can be prompted to replace an item on a sales order; all the user has to do to replace the item is click on the button in the prompt.

  1. Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Telesale Prompts ] tab.
  3. Press Ctrl+N or click the New item icon is the button bar's NEW button .
  4. Type the Telesale Prompt title in the Short Description field.
  5. Ensure that the Sales radio button is selected.
  6. Type the relevant text in the Long Description field, for example 'this item is the old model please replace'.
  7. Click on the in the 'Replacement Stock Item'.
  8. Double-click on the replacement item to add it to the 'Replacement Stock Item' field.
  9. Select the Trigger Items tab below.
  10. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  11. Select the trigger item that is to be replaced with the item selected above.
  12. Set any other options as required.
  13. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save once you have finished.
