How To: Quarantine Stock from a Warehouse Stock Location

Warehouse Location Control is an Advanced User feature. It contains complex, resource-intensive functionality and a decision to begin using it should therefore not be taken lightly.

Stock items must be quarantined before they can be written off.

1. Open a Warehouse screen (show me how).
2. Open the desired Warehouse by double clicking on it.
   Note: This is not the Quarantine warehouse but the warehouse where the items are located.
3. Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
4. Focus on the stock location in the upper grid.
   1. Single Stock Location: click on the button in the lower left; or...
   2. Multi Stock Location: focus on the stock item in the lower grid and click on the button in the lower right.
5. Enter the quantity to quarantine.
6. Click on OK.
7. Press Ctrl+S or click to save the warehouse.
   
   

Note: to remove items from quarantine enter a negative number at step 5.
