How To: Setup a Price List for a Euro Customer

Foreign currency price lists allow you to define fixed selling prices for stock items in a specific currency, such as Euros. This gives you greater control over pricing for overseas customers and avoids relying solely on exchange rate conversions.
If a foreign currency price list is not used, Khaos Control will add stock items to sales orders using the current currency conversion rate.
Prerequisites
Before creating a foreign currency price list, ensure the following requirements have been met.
Disable Force Sales Order Lowest Price
- Open [ System Values | Sales | Pricing ].
- Untick Force Sales Order Lowest Price.
- Restart Khaos Control for the change to take effect.
Important: This option must be disabled when using price lists for stock sold in non-Sterling currencies.

Stage 1: Create a Price List
Create a new price list before adding foreign currency pricing.
- Open the System Data screen (show me how).
- Select Price Lists.
- Press Alt + E or click the Edit button to enter edit mode.
- Press F3 or click the Add button.
- Enter the required details for the new price list.
- Ensure that the Price List checkbox is ticked.
- Press Ctrl + S or click the Save button.
Stage 2: Add Foreign Currency Prices
Once the price list has been created, you can add stock items and define their foreign currency selling prices.
- Open a Promotion screen (show me how).
- Select the [ Price Lists | Stock Item/Price List ] tab.
- Select the required price list from the drop-down list.
- Press Alt + E or click the Edit button.
- Press F3 or click the Add button.
- Enter the foreign currency selling price in the Amount column.
- Repeat for any additional stock items that require pricing.
- Select the required currency from the Limit by Currency drop-down list.
- Press Ctrl + S or click the Save button.
The price list is now restricted to the selected currency and will be available for customers who use that billing currency.
Additional Information
Customer Currency Restrictions
It is not possible to assign a non-Sterling price list to a customer whose billing currency is Sterling, as defined in the [ Customer | Detail | Financial ] screen.
However, customers using a non-Sterling billing currency can still be assigned a Sterling price list if required.
Force Sales Order Lowest Price
The Force Sales Order Lowest Price option in [ System Values | Sales | Pricing ] must remain unticked when using foreign currency price lists.
SCS Items
Parent SCS items can be added to a price list. When child items are added to a sales order, the applicable price list discounts will still be applied.
