How To: Split out Purchase Order Lines when Consignment Quantity is less than Order Quantity

When the quantity of items on a consignment is less than the associated purchase order it is possible to split out the quantities so that the remaining items can be added to a different consignment.

1. Open a Consignment screen (show me how).
2. Find and load the Consignment to be edited.
3. Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
4. When the stock item is added to the upper grid, change the quantity in the 'Qty' column to be the amount on the consignment.
5. Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
6. In the Confirm popup Do you want to split out short delivered purchase order lines click Yes.
7. The line in the lower grid for the purchase order will be split out and displays the amount on the current consignment in orange and the remainder available to be added to a different consignment.

Notes:

1. If the stock item hasn't been added to the upper grid it will need to be added before the quantities can be changed.
2. The line will also be split out in the associated purchase order and delivery note, showing the breakdown of quantities.
