- Tick the Sales Order Held checkbox.
- Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
The effect of this would be that:
- If the user tries to add the item to a sales order a popup will be displayed stating that the stock item has been held and cannot be used on a Sales Order.
- The item will not be added to the Sales Order.

- Press Ctrl+S or click to save changes to the telesales prompt.
- Note: If the above brief instructions for creating a basic telesales prompt do not meet your needs, then more detail is available at How To: Setup a Telesales Prompt.

- The Sales Order cannot be saved until the child item has been removed manually from the order.
