System Data Consignment Status

Consignments is not enabled by default.
Training must be completed before using the consignments functionality.

Note: there will be additional costs involved if this option is enabled.

The Consignment Status screen allows you to create and manage the statuses used within the Consignments module.

Statuses help track the progress of consignments throughout their lifecycle, from initial production through to delivery and closure. While setting up statuses is not mandatory, it significantly improves visibility and reporting within the Consignments module.

Consignment Status Grid

Status

The descriptive name of the consignment status.

Common examples include:

01 - Pre-Production / Not Shipped
02 - On the Water / In Transit
03 - Delivered
04 - Closed Awaiting Costings
05 - Closed

Tip: Prefix status descriptions with numbers to control the order they appear in drop-down lists. Without a numerical prefix, statuses are displayed alphabetically.

Consignment Status Context Menu

Right-click within the grid to access the following options.

Apply Value Range

Allows the same value to be applied to multiple selected rows in the current column.

This can be useful when updating several records at the same time.

Clear Selection

Removes the current selection from the grid.

Best Practice

To make consignment tracking easier, create statuses that reflect the key stages of your purchasing and shipping process. Using a consistent numbering structure ensures statuses appear in the correct operational order throughout Khaos Control.
