System Data Container Types

Container Types allow you to define the different shipping containers used when importing or receiving goods. Once created, these container types are available for selection when creating and managing Consignments.
While setting up Container Types is optional, doing so can significantly improve the functionality and accuracy of the Consignments module by helping you track and manage shipments more effectively.
Container Types Grid
The Container Types grid stores the available container definitions.

| Container Type | The descriptive name of the shipping container, for example 20ft Container, 40ft Container, or any other container type used by your business. |
Container Types Context Menu
The following options are available from the grid's context menu.
Apply Value Range
Apply Value Range allows you to enter a value once and apply it to all currently selected rows within the active column.
This can save time when updating multiple records with the same value.
Clear Selection
Clear Selection removes the current row selection from the grid.
Use this option when you want to deselect one or more highlighted records before continuing with other changes.
