024777: Review and make changes to Anonymisation
1. Overview
KCSL have made changes to the bulk anonymisation screen to include filters for suppliers/customers and for held companies.
2. Specification
Add a filter at the top of the screen to filter out held
records. This will be in addition to the already existing highlight of held records.
Check SP Ledger entries against records when selecting records in scope.
Add a supplier/customer filter.
3. Configuration
An updated application will be provided with this functionality. No further configuration is required.
4. Usage
After applying the above Configuration, typical steps for usage would include:
- Go to the Customer screen.
- Right-click in the grid and click ‘Anonymise multiple companies’.
- Okay the dialog and input your anonymisation password – this is setup in [ System Data | Admin Passwords ].
- Note there are now four new filters in this screen:
- Suppliers (or Customers) – this is a tri-state box that can be used to filter between customers, suppliers, or both.
i. Ticked – shows suppliers.
ii. Unticked – shows customers.
iii. Black box – shows both. This is the default.
- (Company) Held – this is a tick box found under the ‘Company Filters’. Ticking this will allow held companies to be shown in the grid.
i. Ticking this will automatically tick the (Address) Held and (Contact) Held boxes as well, as held companies also have their addresses and contacts held.
ii. Note that automatically ticked filters can be manually overridden if necessary – e.g. if you previously wanted to show held companies, but now you only want to show held contacts.
- (Address) Held – this is a tick box found under the ‘Address Filters’. Ticking this will allow entries with held addresses to be shown in the grid.
i. Ticking this will automatically tick the (Contact) Held box as well, as held addresses also have their contacts held.
