CRM Manager Appointments and Actions (List)
The [ CRM Manager Appointments and Actions (List) ]
tab displays appointments and actions in a read-only list format; whereas its sister tab, the [ Appointments & Actions Diary] ]
tab, displays these in a diary format. The information can be filtered by date, user, type, customer/supplier URN or description. The not filter can also be used in conjunction with the description field. Whenever these filters are altered the Go button needs to be pressed to update the information in the grid.
The 'Appointments and Actions' tab consists of three areas:
- Filters
- Grid
- Grid Colour Legend Footer
Note: The information in the diary is read only " new actions and appointments are added via the [ CRM Manager | Appointments & Actions [Diary] ]
tab.
Filters
- User ( / traffic light filter): filter by user (Note: user task/action applies to, NOT the user who entered the task/action).
- Type ( / traffic light filter): drop down menu listing type. Options are Appointment, Action, Complete Action, Overdue Action or Past Appointment.
- URN ( / traffic light filter): filter by customer URN using the button to display the customer lookup screen.
- Description: filters the grid by description, for example, a company may type email at the beginning of a description or urgent. Users can then filter using these words to quickly find specific items.
- : used in conjunction with the description field to eliminate a string of user defined characters from the search.
- Date From and Date To ( / traffic light filter): filter by date.
Note: the Go button needs to be pressed whenever a filter is changed to update the information in the grid.
Grid
The grid contains information as per the filter selection outlined above. The 'colour legend' key at the bottom of the screen allows the user to see if appointments and tasks are in the past, present or future. The column headings are:
- Date: of the appointment or action.
- Day: of the week of the appointment or action.
Note: the yellow background means it's the first day of a different week and the week number is in brackets. - Period: displays whether the entry is in the Past, Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week or in the Future (more than 2 weeks in the future)
- Time: start time.
- Type: for example appointment or action.
- Description: of the entry. i.e. Appointment or Action
- Company: if assigned to the entry.
- User: who the entry is related to.
Appointments and Actions (List) Context Menu
- Goto Customer: allows the user to view the customer details (if applicable).
- Reassign User: allows the user to reassign the selected appointment/action to a different user.
- Clear Selection: deselects the currently selected line(s).
This defines the entries that are in the grid, via a colour code system, to enable the user to visually see whether the entries are from the past, today, tomorrow etc.
