How To: Apply an eBay Channel Type Values Template to a Category


Channel Listings is not enabled by default.
Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

 Channel Listings is an Advanced User feature.

Once eBay channel Value Sets have been created, see How To: Setup eBay Channel Type Values they can be applied to a channel and all items added to that channel will inherit the Channel Type Value sets.

  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Load an eBay channel.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Focus the node you wish to link a Channel Type Value to.
  5. Right-click and from the context menu select Bind Channel Values Template....
  6. In the 'Channel Values: Select Template' dialog focus on the template you wish to bind to the selected channel.
  7. Click on OK.
  8. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save the changes.

To check which Channel Values Template has been linked to a category:

  1. Focus on the node.
  2. Right-click and from the context menu select Category Information. The Default template will be the Channel Value Template linked to the node.
