How To: Edit a Customer's Record

The procedure for editing a customer record should start by loading the customer's record and going into edit mode:

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.

Once you have altered the record click on Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save to save the customer's record.

Please read the information in the [ Customer | Supplier | Detail ] tabs, e.g. General, Address and CRM tabs, to find out the implications of altering values in these tabs. We have noted against each field were there will be a wider impact on the system if the field value is changed.
