How To: Find Stock in System Warehouse Locations

If you need to check which stock items are currently held in system warehouse locations such as Quarantine, Written Off or Returns Bay, you can do so from the Warehouse screen.
This allows you to view the contents of individual warehouse locations and, if required, print the information for reporting or stock investigation purposes.
View Stock Held in a Warehouse Location
- Open a Warehouse screen (show me how).
- Click Go to display all system warehouses.
- The Warehouse List screen will display all warehouses available in the system.
- Double-click the required warehouse to open it.
- Select the location you want to review within the warehouse.
- The lower grid will display all stock items currently held in that location.
- If required, the contents of the grid can be printed.
Common System Warehouses
Depending on your system configuration, you may see locations such as:
- Quarantine – Stock awaiting inspection or approval before use.
- Written Off – Stock that has been written off and removed from available inventory.
- Returns Bay – Stock that has been returned and is awaiting processing.
Additional Information
- The stock displayed reflects the current contents of the selected warehouse location.
- You can use this screen to review stock levels and investigate inventory held within special-purpose warehouse locations.
- Grid data can be printed for audit, reporting or stock-checking purposes.
Note: You cannot move stock into the Returns Bay or Written Off locations directly from this screen. Stock transfers and adjustments must be carried out using the appropriate warehouse or stock management functions.
