How To: Print a List of Stock Codes

The Print Grid feature allows you to create a customised report of stock items using the information displayed in the Stock List screen.

You can apply filters to narrow down the results and choose which columns appear on the report before printing.

Print a Stock List

Open a Stock screen (show me how).
In the [ Stock | List ] screen, apply any filters required to limit the results.
For example:
- Stock Type
- Product Group
- Supplier
- Status
Click the Print button.
Select Print Grid from the available options.
Choose which columns you want to include in the report:
- Click on a column heading to select it.
- Tick the Hide Column checkbox for any column you do not want to print.
For example, select the Stock Description column and tick Hide Column if you do not want descriptions included in the report.
Click OK to generate and preview the report.

A report is generated using the currently displayed stock records and visible columns, ready for printing or further review.

Discontinued stock items must be reported on separately.
As an alternative to Print Grid, you can use Send to Notepad to export the displayed data for further analysis or manipulation.

Apply filters before printing to keep reports focused and easier to read.
Hide unnecessary columns to produce cleaner, more concise reports.
Use Send to Notepad if you need to copy, save or work with the data outside of Khaos Control.
