How To: Restrict the items a Customer can buy to those on a specified Price List

It is possible to limit the items that a customer can purchase to those on the Price List associated with their Company Class. When an item is added to a sales order, the system checks to see if the price is being pulled from a price list. If it is not, the system will stop the item from being added to the order and will display a dialog to the user with the following error message:

1. Open a System Data screen (show me how).
2. Open the [ Company Classes ] screen.
3. Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
4. Green select the Company Class you wish to make the Price List compulsory for.
5. Tick the Pricelist Required checkbox.

1. Press Ctrl+S or click to save.

Note that if a Move With pack header code is added to the price list, the pack can still be added to a sales order, even if the child items are not individually listed.
