How To: View eBay Category Details


Channel Listings is not enabled by default.
Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

 Channel Listings is an Advanced User feature.

Viewing eBay category information is useful as users can check what additional information is required / enabled / disabled in an eBay category. This functionality allows customers to look at a category and see its required product details, including the following items:

  • EAN
  • ePID
  • UPC
  • MPN Brand
  • ISBN
  • Product Required
  • Product Creation


  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Load an eBay channel.
  3. Focus on a node.
  4. Right-click and from the context menu select Category Information.
    • Example of the category information that is available when the node is a leaf node:
