System Data Vessels
Table Of Contents
The Vessels screen is used to maintain a list of the ships, vessels and transport methods used to move your goods. While setting up vessels is not mandatory, it significantly improves the functionality of the Consignments module by allowing consignments to be linked to specific transport carriers.
Typical examples include:
- Maersk Emma
- Maersk Norse Viking
- Evergreen Ever Ace
- Aeroplane
- Cargo Vessel
Once created, vessel records can be selected when managing consignments, helping you track and report on shipments more effectively.
