How To: Close a Comment or Complaint

  1. Open a Customer screen (show me how).
  2. Load the required customer record.
  3. Open the [ Detail | CRM | Comments / Complaints ] tab.
  4. Select the correct comment/complaint from the grid.
  5. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  6. Press F4 in the Status field and select the new status from the list, for example Complete or Closed.
    Note: the complete status must be setup beforehand, see How To: Setup Complaint Statuses.
  7. Add any comments to the History Comment free text field below the main comment box.
  8. Add an entry in the customer's Comm Log by clicking on the Add to Communication Log button in Comments/Complaints Tab. button  (Optional).
  9. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button    to save.
