How To: Restrict the items a Customer can buy to those on a specified Price List
It is possible to limit the items that a customer can purchase to those on the Price List associated with their Company Class. When an item is added to a sales order, the system checks to see if the price is being pulled from a price list. If it is not, the system will stop the item from being added to the order and will display a dialog to the user with the following error message:
- Open a System Data screen .
- Open the
[ Company Classes ]screen.
- Press to enter edit mode. + or click
- Green select the Company Class you wish to make the Price List compulsory for.
- Tick the Pricelist Required checkbox.
Note that if a Move With pack header code is added to the price list, the pack can still be added to a sales order, even if the child items are not individually listed.
