How To: Setup and Configure eBay Barcodes
Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

- WARNING: When importing orders, the system does not differentiate between Amazon and eBay SKUs and will match on either. It is good practice to have different codes for an item on the different channels and use the barcode button to hold the different codes.
eBay barcodes are used when importing existing eBay listings, importing sales orders and also when listing products. The following barcodes can be setup and used:
- eBay SKU: stored as the eBay barcode and used to match the stock items. The barcode type as set up in
[ System Data | Stock | Barcode Type ]as type eBay SKU. - EAN Barcode: the barcode type as set up in
[ System Data | Stock | Barcode Type ]for EAN barcodes. - UPC Barcode: the barcode type as set up in
[ System Data | Stock | Barcode Type ]for UPC barcodes. - ISBN Barcode: the barcode type as set up in
[ System Data | Stock | Barcode Type ]for ISBN barcodes. - EPID Barcode: the barcode type as set up in
[ System Data | Stock | Barcode Type ]for EPID barcodes.
Setup eBay Barcodes
- Open a System Data screen.
- Open the
[ Stock | Stock Barcode Type ]screen. - Press Alt+E or click
to enter edit mode. - Press F3 or click
to add a new item. - Enter the description.
- Press Ctrl+S or click
to save. - This description will need to be setup against your different eBay accounts.
Manually Setting eBay Barcodes against Stock Items
- Open a Stock screen.
- Find and load the stock item.
- Press Alt+E or click to enter edit mode.
- Click on the
button. - Click
or press F3 to add a new item. - Add the eBay SKU in the Barcode field.
- Focus in the Barcode Type column and press F4.
- Click on OK.
- Press Ctrl+S or click to save.
Automatically Setting eBay Barcodes against Stock Items
The eBay SKU can be imported into Khaos Control when importing existing listings. In the eBay Inventory missing from Channel Listings dialog the Update checkbox must not be ticked. The system will add the eBay SKU into the Barcode field and the description will be the description that matches the eBay channel description.
