How To: Link your eBay Channel to Khaos Control


Channel Listings is not enabled by default.
Training must be completed before using Channel Listings.

 Channel Listings system setup is an Advanced User feature.


Before setting up your eBay channel the ini option Environment must be set to Live.

Creating your eBay Channel in Khaos Control

  1. Open a Web Configuration screen (show me how).
  2. Open the [ Stock | Channel Setup ] tab.
  3. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Enter the following details in the New Channel dialog:

    1. Select [ eBay ] eBay UK or [ eBay ] eBay USA from the Type of channel drop down list.
    2. Name the channel in the Channel Name field, for example eBay UK or eBay USA.
    3. If the Testing Channel checkbox is ticked, untick it.
  6. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

Linking Khaos Control to eBay

  1. Press Alt+E or click the green triangle icon is the buttonbar's EDIT button to enter edit mode.
  2. Focus on your Ebay channel in the top grid.
  3. Click on the Credentials button in the channel setup screen button to open the Credentials Setup: eBay

  4. Enter your eBay User Name.
  5. Click on the Get eBay Token button to send the information to eBay. The Expiry Date and eBay Token will be populated with the information returned by eBay.
  6. Click on OK.
