System Data INCO Actions
Table Of Contents
INCO Actions allow you to define the processes and responsibilities associated with your INCO Terms.
International Commercial Terms (Incoterms) determine which party is responsible for specific stages of the shipping and import process. By setting up INCO Actions, you can map these responsibilities and track the activities required for each shipment.
For example:
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) typically means the supplier is responsible for most of the shipping, customs and delivery activities.
- FOB (Free On Board) usually requires you to arrange and manage transportation, customs charges, duties, taxes and onward delivery to your premises.
Note: Setting up INCO Actions is optional, but it can significantly enhance the functionality of the Consignments module by providing greater visibility of the shipment process.
INCO Actions Grid
The INCO Actions grid stores the activities associated with each INCO Term.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| INCO | The International Commercial Term as defined in INCO Terms. |
| Action | A descriptive name for an action that forms part of the shipping or import process. |
