The INCO Terms screen is used to create and manage the International Commercial Terms used within Khaos Control.
INCO Terms (International Commercial Terms) define the responsibilities, costs and risks associated with international trade transactions between buyers and sellers.
Although setting up INCO Terms is optional, they enhance the functionality of the Consignments module and are required before you can create INCO Actions.
INCO Terms are also used by the Basic Reports Customs Invoice. For more information, see How To: Setup INCO Terms for use with Sales Orders and Basic Reports.
INCO Terms Grid
INCO Description
The full descriptive name of the International Commercial Term.
Examples include:
- Free On Board
- Delivered Duty Paid
- Cost and Freight
- Delivered Duty Unpaid
INCO Code
The code associated with the International Commercial Term.
Note: This is typically the standard three-character code used internationally and is commonly displayed on Customs Invoices.
Examples include:
- FOB
- DDP
- C&F
- DDU
INCO Abbreviation
The abbreviated version of the International Commercial Term.
Examples include:
- FOB
- DDP
- C&F
- DDU
Depending on your business processes, this field can be used as a shortened reference when selecting or reporting on INCO Terms.
INCO Terms Context Menu
Right-click within the grid to access the following options.
Apply Value Range
Allows a value to be applied to multiple selected rows within the current column.
This can help speed up updates when maintaining large numbers of INCO Terms.
Clear Selection
Removes the current selection from the grid.

- INCO Terms must be configured before creating INCO Actions.
- INCO Terms are commonly used when managing international shipments and consignments.
- They can also be referenced within Customs Invoice reports generated through Basic Reports.
- Using standard INCO terminology helps ensure consistency across purchasing, shipping and customs documentation.
