How To: Add a New Stage to Manual Hold

Manual Hold sub-stages allow you to organise and manage specific groups of sales orders within the Manual Hold stage of the Sales Invoice Manager.
For example, you may want to separate orders based on delivery areas, customer requirements or internal processing rules. A common use case is automatically moving orders from specific postcodes into a dedicated Manual Hold sub-stage. For more information, see How To: Automatically Move Sales Orders to a Manual Hold Stage when they are from Specific Post Codes.

Create a Manual Hold Sub-Stage

  1. Select the Manual Hold stage.
  2. Right-click the stage and choose Add SubStage.
  3. Enter a name for the new sub-stage.
  4. Click OK to save.
  5. Close and reopen the Sales Invoice Manager to view the new sub-stage.
