How To: Create a new Shipment from the Shipments Tab

  1. Open the Scheduled Shipments and go to the Shipments tab.
  2. Press Ctrl+N or click the New item icon is the button bar's NEW button to create a new Shipment.
  3. Select the Customer from the lookup dialog.
  4. Press F3 or click the NEW ITEM button has an icon that shows two sheets of paper (identified by having the top right corner folded down), arranged diagonally on the icon from top left to bottom right to add a new item.
  5. Ensure that the following options are correct before saving the Shipment:
    1. shipment schedule
    2. options
    3. sales order address
    4. payment information
  6. Press Ctrl+S or click the disk icon is the button bar's SAVE button to save.

    Notes:
  • Just like shipments created from sales orders, manually created shipments do not have an originating subscription, so there is nothing for other customers to 'join'. It is a one-off for a specific customer but it can be edited and added to.
  • If a number of customers require exactly the same shipments, then a subscription should be created and the customers joined to it to generate their own shipment schedules.
